Absolutely. Many of our speakers are happy to travel — whether it’s Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth or regional Australia. We also represent international speakers and can advise on travel arrangements and costs.

Definitely. Many of our speakers are experienced with virtual delivery and hybrid formats. We’ll recommend those who can engage effectively online and work with your preferred platform.
We recommend booking as early as possible — ideally 3 to 6 months out. That said, we’ve also pulled off great last-minute bookings. If you’re tight on time, just ask — we’ll do our best to make it happen.

Yes. Many of our speakers are non-exclusive, which means you can work with other agencies or manage your own bookings as well. We focus on relationships, not contracts.
We take a standard agency commission from the client side — so speakers receive their quoted fee in full. There’s no upfront cost to be listed, and we only earn when you get booked.
Yes, Essential Speakers works actively across both markets. If you’re a good fit, we’ll promote you on both our NZ and AU sites, and actively pitch you to relevant clients on both sides of the ditch.
